Children can trace the letters directly on the paper, but to save on paper and ink, you could laminate the alphabet tracing worksheets and have them use whiteboard pens. Alternatively, provide tracing paper for them to write on. For an extra warm-up, encourage children to trace the letters with their fingers before they start writing!
